License Agreement
Last updated: May 2, 2026
This License Agreement ("License") describes how you may use the digital products you purchase from Frolax. By downloading, accessing, or using any product you agree to this License. The License is granted in addition to, and is governed by, our Terms of Service.
Frolax sells different kinds of products, and not all of them work the same way. This page sets out the common rules, then a section for each product category. The product page for each product tells you which category it belongs to and lists any product-specific terms — for example, deployment limits, license-key rules, or seat-count restrictions. Where a product page conflicts with this License, the product page controls for that product.
1. Grant of license
Subject to your full payment for a product and your ongoing compliance with this License and our Terms, Frolax grants you a worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the product as described in the section that applies to your product category, and subject to any product-specific terms on its product page.
2. One license per purchaser
Each purchase covers one individual or one organization. If you bought a product on behalf of an agency or company, employees of that organization may use it on the organization's projects. Independent contractors should purchase their own license unless they are working exclusively on a single project for the licensee. Sharing your purchase, download link, license key, or source files with anyone outside your organization or client engagement is not permitted.
3. Templates and themes
This section applies to design templates and themes for platforms such as Framer, Webflow, and similar tools.
What you can do.
- Use the template to build websites and digital products for yourself or your clients, on as many projects as the product page allows. Where the product page does not state a limit, you may use the template on unlimited end-projects.
- Modify, customize, and adapt the template to fit your project.
- Combine the template with your own content, branding, and code.
- Charge clients for design or development services that use the template, provided the deliverable is a finished website or product, not the template itself.
What you cannot do.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the template, in original or modified form, as a template, theme, starter kit, marketplace listing, or similar product.
- Upload the template to a marketplace, asset library, template gallery, or AI training dataset.
- Create a product that competes with Frolax templates by reselling substantially the same content.
4. Plugins and components
This section applies to plugins, components, blocks, and similar building-block products.
What you can do.
- Install and use the plugin or component in your own and your clients' projects, subject to any seat or project limits on the product page.
- Modify the plugin or component for use within those projects.
- Distribute the plugin or component as part of a finished website, application, or product, where it is integrated and not offered as a standalone download.
What you cannot do.
- Distribute the plugin or component as a standalone product, package, or library, even if modified.
- Publish it to a plugin store, package registry, marketplace, or asset gallery.
- Build a competing plugin or component product by repackaging substantially the same code.
5. Source-code products and applications
This section applies to source-code products such as Laravel applications, web applications, and other products delivered as installable code or via a license key.
What you can do.
- Install, deploy, and operate the application within the deployment limits stated on the product page (for example, a single deployment, a fixed number of devices, or unlimited deployments). Where no limit is stated, you may run a single production deployment.
- Modify the source code to fit your needs.
- Use the application to operate a service that you provide to your own users, subject to any user/seat/customer limits stated on the product page.
- Where a license key is provided, use it on the deployments authorized by your purchase.
What you cannot do.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the source code, in original or modified form, as a software product, template, starter kit, or boilerplate.
- Publish the source code publicly (for example, in a public repository) or include it in a dataset.
- Use the product to build a substantially similar product that competes with the original Frolax product.
- Bypass, remove, or tamper with license-key checks, activation systems, or copyright notices in the source files. Visible attribution on the live website or application is not required.
- Exceed the deployment, seat, or device limits described on the product page. If your needs grow, contact us about an extended license.
6. Mobile applications
This section applies to mobile applications sold as products.
What you can do.
- Build, brand, and publish the application to app stores under your own developer account, subject to any limits on the product page (for example, a single published application per license).
- Modify the source code, assets, and configuration to fit your product.
- Charge end users for access to the published application.
What you cannot do.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the underlying source code or project files as a starter kit, template, or product.
- Publish more than one application per license, unless the product page allows it.
- Publish a substantially similar application under a different brand to compete with Frolax's original product.
End users who download the published application from an app store are bound by your terms and the relevant app store's terms, not by this License.
7. Custom and agency work
For custom design, development, and agency engagements, intellectual-property rights in the deliverables transfer to you on full payment of the agreed fees, except for pre-existing materials, libraries, internal tools, and Frolax's general know-how, which remain the property of Frolax and are licensed to you for use in the deliverable on a non-exclusive, perpetual basis. The full terms are set out in the written quote or statement of work for your project, which controls if it conflicts with this License.
8. Third-party assets
Products may include or reference third-party assets such as fonts, icons, photography, code libraries, and services. Those assets are governed by their own licenses, and you are responsible for complying with them when you deploy the product. Where required, you may need to purchase your own license for a third-party asset to use it commercially.
9. Updates
We may release updates and improvements to a product. Where we provide updates, they are made available to existing purchasers at no additional cost during the period stated on the product page (or, if no period is stated, for the lifetime of the product). We do not guarantee any specific update cadence or backwards compatibility with previous versions.
10. Ownership
Frolax retains all intellectual-property rights in its products, brand, and underlying design and code systems. This License grants you the rights described above; it does not transfer ownership of the product, the Frolax brand, or any underlying system.
11. Termination
This License terminates automatically if you breach any of its terms. On termination you must stop using and distributing the product, deactivate any license keys issued to you, and delete any copies in your possession or control. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, restrictions on resale, and warranty disclaimers — will continue to apply.
12. Warranty disclaimer
Each product is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that a product is free of defects or compatible with every version of every third-party tool, framework, device, or operating system. Where the law of your country gives you mandatory consumer warranties that cannot be excluded, those rights are not affected by this clause.
